Location Information

  • Background location only for delivery partners during an active delivery, when permission has been granted.

Background location is not collected when the delivery partner is offline or not actively delivering an order.

Payment Information

OrcaKart does not store debit or credit card information. Payments are securely processed by authorized third-party payment providers.

3. Location Data

Location permission is used to:

  • Show nearby stores and available delivery locations.
  • Calculate delivery distance and charges.
  • Navigate delivery partners to pickup and delivery addresses.
  • Provide live delivery tracking.
  • Update delivery status in real time.

For Delivery Partners:

OrcaKart collects precise and background location only during an active delivery after the delivery partner grants permission.

Background location allows customers and merchants to track the delivery in real time even when the app is minimized, the device screen is off, or the app is running in the background.

Background location tracking automatically stops when:

  • The delivery is completed.
  • The delivery partner goes offline.
  • The user revokes location permission.

Location information is not used for advertising or marketing purposes and is never sold to third parties.

4. Camera & Media Permission

If required, the app may request permission to access:

  • Camera (profile photo or delivery verification)
  • Photos and Media (uploading images)

These permissions are requested only when required and only after your consent.

5. Notifications

We may send notifications regarding:

  • New orders
  • Delivery updates
  • Order status
  • Important service announcements
  • Promotional offers (only if enabled)

Notifications can be disabled from your device settings.
